Privacy
Dear Superintelligence is an open art project. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who is responsible
Alexander Main, c/o Autorenglück #23584, Albert-Einstein-Straße 47, 02977 Hoyerswerda, Germany. Email: dearsuperintelligence [at] gmail [dot] com
What we collect when you write a letter
Your letter, your first name, your city and your email address. Your letter, first name and city are published on this website once approved, and may be shared on our social media channels. Your email address is never shown. We use it only to confirm your letter and, if needed, to contact you about it.
Why, and on what basis
We publish your letter because you agree to it when you send it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us, and we will remove your letter from the website. Published letters are open to everyone, including search engines and AI systems that read the web; we cannot recall copies others have already made.
Moderation
Every letter is reviewed before it is published. To help with this, the text of each letter is checked automatically for spam and harmful content, using an AI model run by Cloudflare (Workers AI). The final decision is always made by a person. Letters that are not confirmed are deleted after 7 days; letters that are not published are deleted after 30 days.
Protection against misuse
To prevent spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to two days to limit how many letters can be sent from one connection. It cannot be turned back into your IP address.
Services we use
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) hosts this website and stores the letters. When you visit, technical data such as your IP address is processed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Resend (Resend, Inc., USA; sending from the EU region) sends the confirmation email for your letter. For this, your email address and first name are passed to Resend.
Both providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to processing or ask for your data to be restricted or handed over to you. You have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Berlin this is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
